Credit Union Membership
Delivering Financial Solutions To You For Over 88 Years.
Our mission - "To be the leader among Credit Unions with a commitment to the changing needs of our members, their families, the community as a whole, and our staff."
The Credit Union Difference
What is the difference between a credit union and a bank?
NOT-FOR-PROFIT
Credit unions are not-for-profit financial cooperatives. We exist to serve our members, not to make a profit. Unlike most other financial institutions, credit unions do not issue stock or pay dividends to outside stockholders. Instead, earnings are returned to our members in the form of lower loan rates, higher interest on deposits and lower fees.
OWNERSHIP
Credit unions are an economic democracy. In other words, each member has equal ownership in the credit union and one vote – regardless of the amount of money the member has on deposit. Every customer is a member and an owner.
PEOPLE HELPING PEOPLE
We exist to help people, not make a profit off of them. Our goal is to service all of our members because every member counts. We are there for our members in their bad times and their good to continue to lend them a helping hand. Our "member first” philosophy causes credit unions and their employees to get involved in charitable activities and worthwhile causes.
